Dian Sastrowardoyo Young and Talented Actress of Indonesia

Diandra Paramitha Sastrowardoyo, recently known as Dian Sastro was born in Jakarta, March 16, 1982. Dian started her career in entertainment environment in 1996 as a winner in Gadis Sampul event which held by GADIS magazine. With her partner in Ada Apa Dengan Cinta (AADC), Nicholas Saputra, Dian mentionly by film criticus film as icon of new icon in national film. Her first movie, Bintang Jatuh (2000), made by Rudi Sujarwo, distributed by non major label in colleges and not performed in the theatre. In that film Dian was acting with Marcella Zalianty, Garry Iskak and Indra Birowo. Next film was Pasir Berbisik (2001), she was acting with Christine Hakim, Slamet Rahardjo and Didi Petet. Through this film, Dian got award as Best Female Actress in International Film Festival in Singapura (2002) and Asian Film Festival in Deauville, France (2002).

Dian also have been a quiz peresenter Super Miliearder 3 Miliar in ANTV. Beside that also stared Television serial titled Dunia Tanpa Koma in RCTI. Her love in film world proved by her contribution in her new film titled Drupadi. Beside as an actress in this film Dian also as producer.

Dian also got duet with Nicholar Saputra in 3 Doa 3 Cinta film with religius view, directed by Nurman Hakim. In the international event, Asian Cinema Festival Vesoul, this film could take home Grand Prize of The International Jury.

Dian was born in Jakarta, March 16, 1982 from couple Ariawan Rusdianto Sastrowardoyo and Dewi Parwati Setyorini. Known as talented artist with high dedicated and totality. Her hobbies are reading, watching and other activities connected with arts. She become Moslem after previously she was Katolik. Beside her activities as actress she had own her writing section in GADIS magazine named Kata Dian. In this magazine she showed her writing talent and got communicate with GADIS reader. She graduated from Philosopy program FIB Indonesia University. Dian also grandchild from National Movement Leader Prof Mr Sunario Sastrowardoyo.

Rossa : Singer of Indonesian Melancholies Song

Rossa has complete name Rossa Roslaina Sri Handayani, was born in Sumedang, West Java, on Oktober 9, 1978. Rossa is an popular Indonesian singer through her melancholies hits songs such as Tegar, Hati Yang Terpilih, Atas Nama Cinta, Aku Bukan Untukmu and Pudar.

Rossa's Career

First daughter from 3 brothers of couple Ukas Hermawan and Eni Kusmiani, started her career as a singer since she was 10 years old. In her first step she just accopanied her mother as Cianjuran singer, went to Dian Records for vocal test. Surprisely, little Rossa's voice attracted Dian Records and finally offered contract to ROssa. Her first album was Untuk Sahabatku (1988) which contented kid songs. Her music arranged by Franky Sahilatua, James F Sundah, Uce F Tekol, Areng Widodo and Alex Lia, and usually they didn't make kids songs. But too bad, in her first step, this album was not good in the market.

Rossa's name started well known after released second album Nada Nada Cinta (1996). Succesed this album followed by Tegar (released begining of 2000) which made Rossa famous. Tegar song also made as theme song for cinema television titled Suami, istri dan Dia, directed by Putu Wijaya.

Rossa also performed as Indonesian Representative in Vietnam Music Festival My Love, October 26-29, 2000 in Hanoi. Even she always busy in the music and on the stage, but Rossa made succes in college and finished her title in Social Politic Science Faculcity (FISIP) in Indonesia University on February 2002. In same year, Rossa released album Kini which still dominated with melancholies songs just like previous album. In This album Rossa sang 9 songs included from Iszur Muchtar, Yovie Widianto, and Melly Goeslaw. In 2003, Rossa released repackage album Kini with her new song Malam Pertama created by Melly Goeslaw which got Double Platinum in 2004.

In the end of 2004, Rossa released album Kembali. In this album, there were 9 songs and still with pop progresif concept. There were several musician got involved such as Icha Jikustik and Lucky Element and also her husband Yoyo also got participated in arranged Wanita Pilihan song. Before this album released in December 2004, 2 songs in the album has been choosen as cinema television soundtrack. The first was Pudar became OST of Doiku Beken, the second was Bicara pada Bintang for OST Pura-Pura Buta.This album made hit in Aku Bukan Untukmu and Pudar. Since 3 months released this album has got platinum award. Six month later, Rossa got back Double Platinum, and her second single Pudar which created by her brother Hendra Nurcahyo took her to visit Malaysia. Then this album released in Malaysia on May 23, 2005 and then Rossa made show in Hollywood Planet of Malaysia to promote her album.

On December 2006 Rossa released compilation album. Its contented previous hit singles such as Nada-Nada Cinta, Tegar, Hati Yang Terpilih, Kini and Kembali. But not just old songs, Rossa also created 3 new hit singles Cinta Tak termiliki, Terlalu Cinta, and Atas Nama Cinta created by Melly Goeslaw.

Finally Rossa's dream to perform solo concert become reality. On November 26 2008, took place in Jakarta Convention Concert (JCC) she performed self concert which titled Persembahan Cinta. In this concert she helped and supported by Erwin Gutawa and Jay Subiakto as composer. After 3 years didn't make album, on January 14, 2009 Rossa back to released her new album titled Self Title Rossa. Which interesting, Yoyo her husband made her a song terlanjur Cinta and sang by Rossa duet with Pasha, Ungu band's vocalist.

Personal Life

Rossa married with Yoyo, member of Padi Band on March 18 2004. They have one boy named Rizky Langit Ramadhan (born on October 03 2005). Unfortunately in this 2009, Rossa got problems and conflicts in her household, Rossa plan divorce with Yoyo, her husband.

Maia Estianty, Former Ratu and Duo Maia

Maya Estianty was born in Surabaya Jawa Timur, January 27, 1976. People previously known her as named Maia Ahmad. Ahmad name taken from her ex-husband named Ahmad Dhani. Maia got popular after she (under her husband management, called Republik Cinta Management) had Duo/Group Music which called Ratu.

Maia's Career

Her career began from music group or Duo called Ratu. Ratu consist of Maia and Pinkan Mambo. In 2003, their first album titled Bersama, carried out hit singles such as Aku Baik-baik Saja, Salahkah Aku Terlalu Mencintaimu and Jangan Bilang Siapa-siapa. This Duo hadn't long age because Pinkan got out from Ratu and decided as solo singer and had her own career. Pinkan position replaced by Mulan Kwok through audition process.

In 2005, after Pinkan Mambo decided resign from Ratu, Maia choosed Mulan Kwok as her partner. With Mulan, Maia released first compilation titled Ratu & Friends with hit singles Teman Tapi Mesra and Di Dadaku Ada Kamu. This album got succesed in the market and sold 400.000 copies.In this year Maia also stared advertisement product such as electronic and automotive with her partner Mulan. In 2006, Maia and Mulan released Album No. Satu with hit singles Lelaki Buaya Darat and Dear Diary. Just as the first album with Mulan, This album also got succesed and sold 500.000 copies in first week released. Unfortunately, even succesed, in the beginning of 2007 Mulan decided got out, after one year stopped from music activies, Maia cameback with new
formation Duo Maia.

In 2007, Maia started got many troubles. Firstly she had problem with Mulan, some media suspect that there was problem in Ratu about royalty sharing, which was not tranparant and fair, and made Mulan left Ratu. Secondly she had problem with her houshold, she had conflict with her husband, Ahmad Dhani.

In the end of 2007 was very hard year for Maia, Mulan finally decided got out from Ratu, but as a tough woman, Maia tried found solution, cause her hard work finally Maia found a person replaced Mulan's position. Through audition Maia recruited new
partner for Ratu and then Mey Chan became the choosen person to be new partner in Ratu. Even so, trouble still didn't left Maia, Ahmad Dhani sue Maia for the right of Ratu's name then forbad Maia used Ratu's name as her Group name. Because she still had contract with Sony BMG, Maia should find other name for her Group.

In 2008, Maia with her new partner Mey Chan released compilation album titled Maia & Friends and Mey Chan started attract by people and medias. Their album got hit in singles Ingat Kamu and E.G.P. This album sold more than 300.000 copies and got Double Platinum award from Sony BMG.

With Mey Chan, Maia became more productive, she got many shows on the stage, created a song which sing by Dirly (Indonesian Idol finalist) and became theme song of automotive product Honda.

In 2009 MAIA released album titled Sang Juara and got hit singles in Pengkhianat Cinta and Serpihan Sesal the Sang Juara song dedicated to all Indonesian Athletes and used as theme song in every sport events which held in Indonesia by Young and Sport Minister Adyhaksa Dault.

Agnes's Career
Agnes started her career when she was 6 years old as kid singer. Agnes has been released 3 albums of kid songs that was Si Meong, Yess and Bala-bala. Her first album got Double Platinum with sales over 300.000 copies.

In December 10, 2005 Agnes released second album titled Whaddup A'..?! just like first album, Agnes took famous musician such as Dewiq, Melly Goeslaw, Andi Rianto and others. Agnes also asked American's singer Keith Martin for colaboration. In this album Keith Martin created 2 english songs and also got duet in song "I'll Light a Candle".
